This position is responsible for driving sales growth, opening doors, managing inventory, and product merchandising with accounts across retail, grocery, and liquor in the designated area. Establish and maintain a professional rapport with retail personnel and buyers that is based on trustworthiness, respect, communication, and an impeccable level of customer service. This includes monitoring inventory levels, order placements, product demos, stocking shelves, rotating shelved product, setting up displays, stocking and rotating products in coolers, organizing and rotating products in storage rooms, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Company's values and mission in the territory
  • Forge strong, trustworthy customer relationships at store level in the territory – distributors, key retail buyers, and other brand partners - includes sales presentations, work withs, samplings at key accounts
  • Actively call on new accounts two days per week
  • Drive sales volume and distribution in the territory by identifying new opportunities, active selling, and motivating distributor sales teams to prioritize the brand in their portfolio
  • Visit new and existing retail accounts on a regular basis – on-and-off premise
  • Reset merchandise at customer locations to enhance the display of product to promote and drive sell through efforts
  • Merchandise, organize, stock store shelving, coolers, and product displays to increase consumer trial and engagement, e.g., signs, strips, floor graphics, displays, and more
  • Execution of plan-o-grams, organizing promotional and sales price changes
  • Maintain quality and quantity of products on shelves by rotating products, checking best-by dates to ensure freshness, and replenish product with back stock
  • Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf; keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition
  • Coordinate and communicate product merchandising needs and customer requirements with Sales team
  • Communicate store issues to store managers and Director of Sales—quickly and professionally
  • Communicate with the production team and Sales Director regarding product discrepancies and/or customer issues
  • Keep diligent records of all elements of trade performance (everything from volumes/velocity to reactions to promotional budgeting)
  • Comply with operating procedures (e.g., following designated route, tracking store activities, communication with respective departments, etc.)
  • Service accounts during designated times established by management

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
  • Beer and beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proven, exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Able to lift, load, unload, and move product weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Able to hang and build merchandise materials
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, bend, and twist frequently
  • Able to lift, load, unload, and move product weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work in an environment with moderate noise levels
  • Using own vehicle, travel by car within the specific region is expected for this position
